To reduce all forms of pollution within Retrace’s environment through programs implemented across all areas and functions.

It’s no secret that emissions and air pollution is harmful for us as individuals, and as a society.

Air pollution can:
  • Cause cancer and other ailments like asthma and bronchitis.
  • Hamper children’s physical and cognitive development.
  • Add to chronic diseases in later life, including osteoporosis and dementia.

8.1

million deaths every year from exposure to ambient and household air pollution.

99%

of the world’s population live in areas where the air pollution levels exceed WHO guideline limits.

2.3

billion people rely primarily on polluting fuels and technologies for cooking.

Retrace is where clean air meets the urban environment – in the form of a Low Emission Zone.

Living in a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) can drastically reduce or reverse the ill effects of emissions in our atmosphere. This is a key tenet of our sustainability goals and our ReMatter initiative.

Building the new
We’re extremely conscious about how we balance missions from the extraction, manufacturing, and transportation that goes into building Retrace.
The long run
Building long-term strategies into the foundation of Retrace, making low-emission living the default way of life at Retrace.
