To make Retrace an accessible and holistic environment for every user, inhabitant, and visitor irrespective of age, ability, or species.

Integrating Mind, Body, Soul & Community
Sustainability is holistic. It balances the growth of our lives, development of our community, and the protection of our land and people.
What makes Retrace an immensely holistic environment — something never seen before in India — are the various tenets that we adhere to.

A self-sustaining ecosystem
Reinforced by social and environmental sustainability, Retrace will soon be the norm for residential communities across India. What makes this residential fringe self-sufficient?

A home that helps everyone, and we mean everyone
Wheelchair-friendly
Equipped with ramps and wheelchair-friendly entrances, every plot and amenity at Retrace has been reimagined to create an inviting community for senior citizens and people with physical disabilities.
An ecosystem for all
Biofencing & privacy buffers around the homes are made of indigenous plants that coexist and nurture each other. They attract the right kinds of insects, birds, animals, and other pollinators to create an enriching, thriving environment for all of Medipally’s inhabitants.

Energy Remastered
From smart poles to onsite renewable sources, from homes made from wood to careful community planning, Retrace will see minimal energy consumption with plenty of shade and natural ventilation.

Farms For All
With gardens of various sizes and types, Retrace promotes site wide organic farming of vegetables and fruits, with the help of expert farmers and agriculturalists, who will keep an eye on every crop.

The Natural Waste
By using natural and biodegradable materials or materials that require minimal processing, waste generation will be minimised. Through mindful allocation and disposal of waste, we are also lowering carbon emissions across the community.

A Walkable Community
With seamless navigation, dedicated trails and lanes, Retrace is a highly walkable community that also allows you to make full use of smart cycles and electric buggies to move around if you don't feel like stretching your legs.
Excluding curbs became the first step to creating a community that took in the concerns of the disabled and the geriatrics.

Pollinating a sustainable society.
Pollination is ecologically sound. It is essential for the survival of not just plants but birds, animals, and us humans. Without pollinating plants or pollinating agents (insects, birds and animals), the human race has very little chance of survival on Earth.
At Retrace, pollination is key to being wholly organic and food positive. The US Forest Service found that almost 80% of plants and trees are pollinated by animals.

A helping hand that lives nearer to you.
Every Retrace plot has a designated space for service quarters and service lanes that allow servants and other essential labourers to move around the plot.
Service quarters are thoughtfully placed on each plot to ensure that they're closer to the service quarter on the next plot, creating a sense of community for the occupants.
